Fuji Omuro Sengen Shrine

Located on the southern shore of Lake Kawaguchi, Fuji Omuro Sengen Shrine is regarded as the oldest shrine associated with Mount Fuji.
Its main hall originally stood on the mountain’s second station before being moved to its present location.

Surrounded by trees, the shrine is especially beautiful in spring, when cherry blossoms line the approach.
